AIA Dallas/Nicaragua Baseball Tour
We fly out today June 13th from DFW Airport and will return July 2nd. Our week of preparation time has been awesome! We have a great bunch a guys with very little pitching and are hoping to pick up a few Nicaraguan Pitchers to have a mixed culture team. I believe that just like last summers AIA South Africa mixed culture basketball team this will allow us to be better ministers of the gospel with unity across culture being a light to others. It will also be a better experience for both the American players and Nicaraguan pitchers we pick up. We will be playing teams and sharing our stories of how Jesus has sought us and changed us after the games we play. Our guys are doing a great job of learning spanish even though we will have a translator. Ayudame EspirtuSanto…Dios te bendiga (help me Holy Spirit and God bless you)

We have been in Dallas for a week
- Outreach with El Camino church in an apartment complex in Dallas area. One AIA guys shares about who we are and the pastor translates. Also one of our guys shared his testimony as well.

Ultimate Training Camp Week 2
161 Athletes week 1 experienced an incredible journey of combining athletics and their faith in Jesus Christ into one starting the journey of learning how to compete for the Kings of Kings and live a lifestyle that is a thank you to what Jesus has done for us. I think around 15 accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and all of the athleltes had stories of how God was working in their lives powerfully that week.
Week 2 there were about 55 students and at least 5 put their faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and savior and several accepted the challenge to join full-time staff with AIA or go into full time ministry.
Thank you for your prayers. I left the cd with pictures in Colorado so will have to load them later.
We also got 25 new videos to edit with amazi ng stories from these athletes. Stories about Christ protecting somone who got kidnapped at gun point and stories a young ladies battle and victory with an eating disorder. Please pray for our editing process that Jesus would be the hero in all the stories told.

Utlimate Training Camp Week 1
- What a blessing to have my parents get to come to the first evening session! I love you mom and dad!
- My Small Group Collin, Chris, Dan, Me, Billy And Mark all big all football players with amazing hearts!
- One teammates prayer for her struggling teammate during the SPECIAL ( the 20 hours of intense physcial, mentail, emotinional and spiritual competition
- Late night interviews with my amazing crew, Adam and Ryan. We captured another 16 stories from athletes at this camp.

- Swimming Relays were also an event during the SPECIAL, while some teams were racing in the water my job was to have the other teams doing stairs and planks. For 4 hours 8pm -12am I had the megaphone challenging them to press in in prayer for each other and stand on God’s word for their strength. It was awesome but it was draining as I poured myself out like a drink offering with my words and encouragement.

Athletes in Action Ultimate Training Camp 2009
Today our Athletes in Action staff spent a day with the Lord in the Word, in prayer and in heart check as we prepare to host 170 college athletes from around the U.S. week 1 and around 50 for week 2. We met our 18 interns who will also be key leaders in making this camp successful. Please pray for the Holy Spirit to radically use us to serve, challenge and empower every athlete that comes to Ft. Collins in the next two weeks regardless of where they are in their journey with Jesus.

Being in the Presence of God and people…so refreshing :)

This last month’s theme has been being in the presence of God and others. There is awesome ministry taking place with students. I have great testimonies from them on video but i don’t want to put their business out there without their permission. Please continue to pray for the editing process of the 60 different interview videos we do have permission to share with you and thousands and millions of others. Until then please think this month about your time being with God and being with those most important to you. My trip to Colorado was a huge blessing to be with many of you who prayerfully and financially support me. Also to not worry about money or asking for money was a huge plus. Thank you for being on this team.

- Exodus 33:15 Then Moses said to him, “If your Presence does not go with us, do not send us up from here….vs. 18 Then Moses said, “Now show me your glory.” My prayer and the theme of being home in Colorado was being in God’s presence through nature, pleading to him that I can’t live for him let alone lead without his presence. Also just being in the presence of many family, friends and supporters was so refreshing 🙂
- Psa 104:13 He waters the mountains from his upper chambers; the earth is satisfied by the fruit of his work.
- Fishing with Sean Woodcook- friend and worship pastor at The Village Church in Eagle, Colorado. I had a fabulous time with dear brothers and sisters in Eagle.
- Being with Family…Getting the dogs bathed was a new experience for sure!
- Pray for Living Water to Gush in and through me this summer!
- I pray that you, the college athletes and myself would drink in the outpouring of the Holy Spirit this summer! (Joel 2:28-29)
- Got 1-2 more months with the prophet hair so this is my Moses shot but I haven’t seen any parting of the red sea yet 🙂
- Proverbs 28:1 The Righteous are as bold as a lion…” Pray that my boldness comes from the Christ in me the hope of Glory; from spending time with the Living Word of God -Jesus!
- Matthew 5:6 “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.” Jhn 4:14 “but whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.” “
