Here is a little taste for you of the outreach we did at a local church for middle school and high school students. We brought the gospel and also refereed their tournament as we partnered with some local churches.
Luke 8:26-39
“27 When Jesus had stepped out on land, there met him a man from the city who had demons. For a long time he had worn no clothes, and he had not lived in a house but among the tombs.”
“35 Then people went out to see what had happened, and they came to Jesus and found the man from whom the demons had gone, sitting at the feet of Jesus, clothed and in his right mind, and they were afraid. And those who had seen it told them how the demon-possessed man had been healed.”
The madness of the demoniac…He was hurting himself, no one wanted to be around him they were afraid of him…
Apply it to their world…
What madness is going on in your life?
….Are your parents going through a divorce, did you not make a team, difficulty with teachers, girlfriends, boyfriends, family, sports, can’t fit in, having identity issues… getting bullied, can’t stand your parents, gossip about you around school, maybe some of you have real demons like the demoniac that are tormenting you…whether the madness is great or small it is still madness and until you have an encounter with the prince of peace, Jesus Christ it will never go away….
Transition we to can have an encounter with Jesus Christ and be clothed and sitting at his feet in our right mind. We can get rid of the madness in life and have a peace that is unspeakable.
I want to introduce you guys to one of the greatest coaches of all time during the basketball side of March Madness month, John Wooden. He is going to help walk us through in basketball terms how we can be in our right mind and be freed from this madness of life.
We are celebrating the responses we received on the comment cards that fifty-seven people prayed to accept Jesus Christ through the Breakfast! Glory to God! That is what it is all about! So, our follow-up crew will have a lot of work to do in the coming months. God knows each person who came and will continue to water the seeds placed in their heart. Please join me in praying for God to continue to reveal Himself to each not-yet-believer who attended.

Thank you for your prayers and support

For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you by his poverty might become rich…. 13 For I do not mean that others should be eased and you burdened, but that as a matter of fairness 14 your abundance at the present time should supply their need, so that their abundance may supply your need, that there may be fairness. (2 Cor. 8:9,11-12)

Write me a note that this is specifically to sponsor a Student from going on a mission trip or a winter retreat. If you want it allocated for a certain college that I or AIA works with I can offer them a scholarship but cannot guarantee they will take it. If that happens I will use wisdom in distributing to help someone go on a retreat or Sports mission trip within Athletes in Action.
